Hunter’s Redoubt is now available! …mostly. Print versions can be ordered from retailers. Amazon’s version of the trade paperback went live on Amazon sites today, and that is the version that will be shipped if you order the paperback from Amazon. The audiobook has propagated out to Kobo — but it hasn’t reached other audiobook retailers yet (I checked before I posted). I will try to update links on the book page as it does. I am still in Kansas City, but we’re leaving for Toronto today, so I may be out of internet reach while we travel.

I am writing from Kansas City, as I am here for my first in person convention since 2019. Some of you may have noticed that the trade paperback edition of Hunter’s Redoubt is now available on Amazon & B&N. In theory, the hardcover should make its way out into the world in a similar fashion. To be kind to booksellers, I don’t expect that the print editions will make their way out onto bookstore shelves – so walking into a bookstore to ask where the print version is will not make their jobs any easier. I do expect that you’ll be able to special order the book from various booksellers. This is pretty much how BakkaPhoenix handles self-published books. We carry very few as a matter of course, but will order … Continue reading
November 29th is publication day for Cast in Eternity! …A day I had marked in my calendar as: “Optometrist appointment: 12:30” T_T. It’s been that kind of month. Physical books have made it to the store at which I work, and ebooks — I think — went out at one minute after midnight. So, fingers crossed, any preorders have been met, and anyone who prefers physical books should be able to find it in stores. (As usual, the physical books have a much wider availability range, because the books have to get from a warehouse to all the corners of North America — or beyond! — before the 29th.) Links for ebooks, audiobooks, etc. can be found on the book’s page (linked above). While I don’t link libraries, if budgets are tight, libraries should have the books … Continue reading
It’s pub day for Sword and Shadow, the second of the Severn novels! Links to various retailers are on the book page on the link above :). If you find the book in the wild, send me a picture! (Forbidden Planet in the UK has signed copies — by book plate. BakkaPhoenix, the store at which I still work part-time, will have signed books, but if you want the book personalized, it’s easier for me to do that because I’m in the store weekly.) I am being crushed by a deadline that is looming like a locomotive toward a person tied to the tracks, but this is the part that makes it worthwhile – knowing that I’ll finish and I’ll have a book out that I can finally share with people.
It’s pub day for Cast in Oblivion. Print books are in stores in North America – and probably in specialty SF/F stores in the UK and Australia. The audiobooks appear to be available everywhere. The ebooks appear to be available everywhere but Australia/NZ. Anything that can be done from here is being done — I’m really, really sorry because I honestly love my Australian fans T_T. To celebrate this, I have commissioned a map. If you look at the menu bar, there’s a new tab, MAPS, and the drop down has the map for the City of Elantra, done by Mati Demers. (Where by celebrate, I mean that I realized I actually needed a bit of a visual guide after all this time, because I am terrible at mapping, and at reading maps. I am one of … Continue reading
