On February 7, 2017, the third and final part of The Queen of the Dead will be published. It’s longer than either Silence or Touch by about 40%. But everyone expects that from final volumes, right? >.> It also has my favorite of the three covers, all by Cliff Nielsen. *** I couldn’t choose a single chapter as a starter. I mean, I could, but I couldn’t. So there are sort of three chap­ters in the sample chapter, which is here.

Touch is coming out this month, and I haven’t posted the sample chapter yet. In fact, I don’t think I’ve posted the cover. I was kind of caught up in writing with nose-to-grind­­s­tone (which should produce sharp noses, but, well, mine still only barely holds my glasses up). So: I have a cover image to show you. The artist is Cliff Nielsen, who was respon­sible for the cover of Silence. And I also have the prologue and the first chapter. (I read the prologue at Worldcon; it was consid­ered depressing. Which, yes, it sort of is. It’s Nathan. Chapter one, however, is less so. So have both.) Touch preview.
