I’m sorry — I should have done this last week, and totally forgot, being filled with angst and dread about the writing. Elsewhere, someone reminded me that it’s been a long couple of months, and it has, but, well. Writing not going well = no one wants to hear me whining. But before I hide under a rock, I really should have posted this thread. As usual, I will avoid it and the comments if you want to discuss the book among yourselves. And as usual, it’s a spoiler thread, so if you hate spoilers – I don’t, my long suffering husband does – you’ll want to avoid this one.
Today is Cast in Atonement’s publication day — where, in theory, the book is available for purchase everywhere in trade paperback, ebook and audiobook. I really like the cover for this one, and the clothing Kaylin is wearing might seem familiar. Because it is :) I had not intended this book to be what it became — although by this point, I think I’m 50/50 on intention and result. It’s the usual difficulty for me: I have a plan, and it looks good in four sentences on paper. But as I write actual book words, the consequences of the prior book or books rear up and smack me upside the head.
