Sword and Shadow, Preview Chapter

Posted in Elantra, chapters, Mira.

As Elizabeth G reminded me in my last State of the Author post, it is in fact January, which is the month before February, which is the publication month for Sword and Shadow. While I knew on some level it was January, the lead in to February, I … somehow failed to make the connection >.<.

I therefore have a first chapter and an updated home page. The first chapter can be found here (although all preview chapters are also linked to their individual book/bibliography pages, for future reference).

And now I will crawl back under my rock, taking my laptop with me because deadlines are tighter than I thought they were by about a month, which is still doable, but. I swear my brain has become jello during the covid years >.<

I’m sorry to add work to you but it would be great to read a book about Rath growing up and what led him to leave his house and family

Yesterday I went over to Barnes and Noble and ordered the book to be mailed to my home but we are leaving for Alabama on the 26th and I have had problems getting books from Barnes and Noble when having my mail forwarded, so I also purchased the book on nook. I love your books but just wish you were able to write faster. Thanks for the first chapter and hours of reading.

I want to thank your for these books. I look forward each and every book that comes out and you have make it a delightful experience by adding Severn Handred to the mix. I’ve been a fan for years.
