Cast in Honor Cover and news

Actu­ally, let me start with the news first: Mira has bought two more Cast novels! I only have a tenta­tive title for one: Cast in Flight. Which is all I’ll say about it until after Cast in Honor is published.

Here is the cover for Cast in Honor, by the inim­itable Shane Reben­schied. I love this cover. I mean, I love love LOVE it.

I try not to tease about covers or things I can’t share yet — but even I had to mention it when I first saw it because there’s only so many times you can bounce up and down in your house­hold before all of your family starts avoiding you. No, I did not count the exact number of times — I wasn’t thinking Science at the time :).

    I believe this may be my favorite cover so far — it is just awesome! Yay for 2 more Cast books (and congrats :) ) I absolutely cannot wait until November and I already have my copies pre-ordered.

    Wow, that is a fantastic cover! Reminds me of the Cast in Ruin cover. Gosh, I can’t decide if the new one or Cast in Peril is my favorite – they are all so good. Congrats on the contract for 2 more books, too. Cast in Flight is a great title! I’m so happy we get a great Essaylien novel and a Cast novel all in one year! ;-D

    Oh my gosh! SQUEE!!! I don’t know which is more exciting, awesome new cover — which means the book is that much closer to release — or the promise of 2 more Elantra books! I am beside myself with joy! So awesome, can’t wait!

    Love the cover! On pins and needles waiting for the book to come out, but that always adds to the joy when it finally arrives. Preordered both the book and the ebook, and will get the audio book when it’s out. Best news? Two more!! Fantastic!!!!! Thanks!!!!????

    My father-in-law got me into your books. He only had the first couple, so I naively thought I would be able to get the entire series without a problem. Now I burned through the series, got my friends hooked too, and we are all breath­lessly waiting for the next install­ments! I can’t wait to see what you’re bringing out now!

    Dear Michelle, I’m not getting your e‑mails for months now. Since before Oracle. I just find news when I come to your website. What great news about the Cast Books. I just got them today because I got no message on the 12th. To have the newest Cast book ready to come out very soon with another to follow is among the best news ever. I finally finished Oracle yesterday even though I got the hard­back and elec­tronic copies the first day out. My life seems to have slow down and can only read few pages a day.
    What a great cover too for CAST. Is this the same sword of one of the previous books? Dealing again with Ravellon and adven­ture for Night­shade. It’s going to be a hit. I have one ordered for quite a while now. Please, keep me on your mailing list. Thank you.

    Amazon noti­fied me that the book Cast in Honor has an earlier delivery date. I think they said November 28. Can’t even remember which was the orig­inal delivery date. But who cares! If it’s earlier than sched­uled, I love it. So I should get the book from Amazon and the elec­tronic from B&N. Still a long wait.

    I think November 24th is the new release date. It was orig­i­nally sched­uled for August 25th, but got bumped back. It will be a late birthday present for me, but I still can’t wait!
